Workshop on Writing ATF Sub-Project Proposal

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the "Workshop on Writing ATF Sub-Project Proposal," held on 02 January 2025 at GUB's Syndicate Room (A-409). The workshop was organized by GUB in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), aimed at assisting faculty members in preparing competitive proposals for the Academic Transformation Fund (ATF).

The event featured key speeches from:

>Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor, GUB

>Prof. Dr. A. K. M. Mohiuddin, Professor at MBSTU, who provided insights on ATF proposal preparation

>Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Vice Chancellor, GUB, highlighting the importance of ATF for academic excellence

>Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Director, IQAC, GUB, who delivered the vote of thanks

Key topics covered included:

>Overview of the HEAT Project and ATF grant opportunities

>Guidelines for writing structured proposals

>Key funding areas such as pandemic-related research, teaching infrastructure, biotechnology, AI, and sustainable agriculture

>Proposal requirements for realistic budgets, implementation plans, and performance indicators

The workshop also clarified the ATF researcher categories: Junior Researchers (Lecturer to Associate Professor) and Senior Researchers (Professor).
